Committees, Groups & Forums
CMA’s committees and working groups provide input and advice to assist the public policy and advocacy work of the Association, and to help educate marketers about the rules and regulations governing marketing activities.
They provide thought leadership and support the ongoing development of the CMA’s framework of industry self-regulation. At the core of this work is the Canadian Marketing Code of Ethics and Standards, as well as a series of best practices and compliance guides.
Members of Regulatory Committees and Working Groups must be employed by a CMA member organization.
Members include senior marketers and other professionals whose expertise would be of value to the committee, such as lawyers, compliance officers, technology experts or HR executives.
CMA’s Regional Forums support members outside of the Greater Toronto Area by giving marketers across the country a stronger voice through the CMA and the ability to amplify local marketing best practices, programs and thought leadership.
