Emily Baillie is a national digital marketing and AI trainer, speaker, and professor with over 15 years of experience helping teams across Canada navigate digital transformation.
Through her business, Compass Content Marketing, Emily has delivered over 150 workshops and training sessions to organizations of all sizes — from global brands like GlaxoSmithKline to regional leaders such as United Way BC, the Ontario Federation of Agriculture, and Jelly Academy. Her sessions are known for being engaging, practical, and for making complex topics feel approachable and immediately actionable.
Emily is a Chartered Marketer, a past Panel Judge for the Canadian Marketing Association awards, and an early adopter of AI tools for marketing. She holds a BA in Communications from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Certificate in Strategic Marketing from the University of Toronto. She teaches digital marketing at McMaster University.
With a strong background in social media marketing, digital strategy and entrepreneurship, Emily is passionate about helping professionals across sectors use AI to stay current, work smarter, and lead with confidence in a rapidly evolving digital world.
Cancellation or transfer of registration must be received by e-mail to learning@thecma.ca no later than ten (10) business days prior to the date of the training to receive a full refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than ten (10) business days prior to the training date. If you registered for a training but are unable to attend, substitutions* are welcome any time prior to the original registration training date at no extra cost.
