One of my favourite vintage ads showed the owner of Remington Products saying he liked Remington razors so much that he bought the company. I was hardly old enough to shave when the ad aired, but it still resonates. It’s powerful when a consumer steps up and endorses – or takes an ownership stake in a product.

A growing number of people are stepping forward to endorse the Chartered Marketer program, now that our first cohort of students have graduated, joining several hundred marketers who are progressing towards attaining their CM, or earned the designation through the executive path.

Many of you have asked how you can help. Here are a couple of ideas:

  • Follow and engage with our CM handles on social media. You can find us on LinkedIn as @Chartered Marketer, and on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with our new handle: @charteredmktr
  • If you are a Chartered Marketer, let’s profile your professional journey through our CM spotlight series. We will feature you in a blog on the Chartered Marketer site and amplify the blog on our social channels and email campaigns.
  • If you or your colleagues have questions about the program, get in touch with our team. We would be happy to do a presentation to your team.

The CM designation brings credibility to the Canadian marketing profession. Help us spread the word!
